RAS is pleased to offer our latest STC, a Commercial Parts List STC for Eclipse 500. STC SA04454CH is a first of its kind STC that recategorizes the main battery internal modules as "commercial parts". As "commercial parts", the STC holder can purchase replacement battery modules from a variety of commercial sources in full compliance with all 14 CFR regulations.
The STC also provides instructions for the replacement (re-block) of the battery modules on both RAS 24 Amp and 34 Amp batteries. The STC creates a means for operators to continue to use and maintain their RAS batteries for many years to come, while saving money over replacing the entire battery.
The STC applies to the aircraft serial number as well as each battery by serial number. To complete the STC purchase, the aircraft and both battery serial numbers must be provided. Placards indicating that battery's eligibility by serial number for repair using commercial parts in accordance with this STC are included.
PLEASE ASSURE YOU SUPPLY THE CORRECT BATTERY SERIAL NUMBERS. CORRECTIONS TO STC AUTHORIZATION LETTERS WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
STCs will be mailed out in bulk after the offering period has closed. Exact date dependent on parts availability, anticipated September 2026.
