Avio NG™ & Avio IFMS™ Display Encoder Replacement

Moving quickly between systems and functions is accomplished by use of rotating optical encoders. These encoders make moving through options and selections simple, fast, and effective.  

Age and use can reduce the effectiveness of your encoders.  To solve this problem, RAS has developed an FAA approved process to replace any of the encoders in either the Primary Flight Display (PFD) or Multifunction Flight Display (MFD).

Our FAA approved process is applicable to all versions of displays manufactured by Integrated Solutions & Support for the Eclipse.

A Single Dual Concentric Encoder replacement is priced at $3750.00.  Both Dual Concentric Encoder replacement is priced at $4250.00.  

Avio™ Processing Center / Aircraft Computer System

The Aircraft Computer System (ACS) is the heart of the Eclipse Avio™ System. Controlling virtually every function of the aircraft, from avionics to engines, the ACS is indispensable.

We have all of the tooling, equipment, and data to repair any ACS issue. Typical repair times are 2-3 days.

ACS repairs are flat rate priced at $29,000.00.  

Autopilot Servos

The Eclipse Jet as a unique Byteflight operated Distributed Digital Flight Control System.  Each of the three servos control one axis of the autopilot.  Together, the three units combine to form the autopilot system.

RAS is the exclusive source for Eclipse autopilot servo repairs.

Autopilot Servo repairs are flat rate priced at $6,995.00.  

Autopilot Control Panel

The Autopilot Control Panel provides the commands for the autopilot servos.  Failing encoders, inoperative map lights, data bus failures, and backlighting can be repaired in days, rather than weeks.

Autopilot Control Panel repairs are flat rate priced at $7,495.00.  

Center Switch Panels

Center Switch Panels perform a considerable number of functions; from commanding the landing gear to processing byte flight signals, the CSP performs a critical role.

RAS now has several FAA approved processes for the 80-00883-0XX Center Switch Panels that cover a variety of repairs, from switch replacements to complex functions.  We can even convert CSPs between the different configurations.

Standard CSP repairs are priced at $8500.00.

Generator Control Units (GCU)

Unexpected power surges and high electrical loads can damage your Generator Control Unit (GCU).

Our FAA approved process for the GCSG505-16N GCU can save you both money and down time. Typical repair times are 2-3 days and cost a fraction of the OEM repair costs.

Standard GCU repairs are priced at $1495.00.

System Battery Bus Contactor 

With age, contactors may become intermittent, or drop off line after a short period.  Often failing contactors can be mistaken for bad switches.

Our FAA approved process for the 1181-3 System Battery Bus Contactor offers significant savings over buying a new unit. Typical repair times are 2-3 days.

Standard System Battery Bus Contactor repairs are priced at $3500.00.

Start Battery Contactor Lighting Contactor (SBCLC)

With age, contactors may become intermittent, or drop off line after a short period.  Often failing contactors can be mistaken for bad switches.

Our FAA approved process for the 1188-1 Start Battery Contactor Lighting Contactor (SBCLC) offers significant savings over buying a new unit. Typical repair times are 2-3 days.

Start Battery Contactor Lighting Contactor repairs are priced at $3500.00.

Navigation/Anti-Collision Lights

Weak or inoperative LEDs can ground your airplane.  And, unless you want to purchase an expensive upgrade, there are no options for replacement lights.

RAS now has an option, an FAA approved process for the 84001-X Navigation/Anti-Collision Lights. If you need repaired lights immediately, check with us first, exchange units may be available.

Standard light repairs are priced at $2500.00.  

Tail Anti-Collision Light

Weak or inoperative LEDs can ground your airplane.  Rather than purchase an expensive replacement, we can repair your existing unit.

RAS now has an option, an FAA approved process for the 84002-X Tail Anti-Collision Light. 

Standard light repairs are priced at $2500.00.  

De-Icing Manifold

The De-Icing Manifold controls the operation of the De-Ice boots in icing conditions.  Lack of use, moisture, and corrosion can cause the De-Icing Manifold to malfunction.  The cost of a new De-Icing Manifold can exceed $18,000.00.

RAS now has an FAA approved process for the Aerazur 507040-4 De-Icing Manifold.  

Standard De-Icing Manifold repairs are priced at $6995.00, a fraction of the cost an a new replacement De-Icing Manifold.

Engine Fuel Filter Impending Bypass Switch

The Engine Fuel Filter Impending Bypass Switch is prone to failure, and at $2700.00 for a new replacement unit, the costs can add up. 

RAS now has an FAA approved process for the Pratt & Whitney Canada 35C3388-01 & 35C5593-01 Impending Bypass Switch.

Standard repairs are priced at $995.00, a fraction of the cost an a new replacement switch.
